Joe Buehler

Joe Buehler’s passion for design excellence, research and collaboration has established a culture identity for TEAM A. His diverse experience in commercial / residential typologies and public / private sector work contribute to his strength in finding thoughtful forward thinking solutions to projects of various scale and complexity.


Emma Clin



Emma has spent her time in Chicago working on a diverse portfolio of building typologies. From restaurants and offices to multi unit and single family homes, Emma has a passion for connecting broader ideas outside of architecture and implementing them into building design to create unique spaces. Emma’s architectural interests lie within story telling and how a building can positively influencing a person’s life.

Jason Nuttelman


Jason has had the opportunity to work on diverse projects around the world, gaining an appreciation of different cultures and the architecture that surrounds them. These opportunities have allowed him to provide visionary designs on projects in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin America and across North America. However, his heart has always been focused on Chicago and its diverse neighborhoods, providing hope for these communities through transformational design.

Kai Liu

Born in China and raised in the United States, Kai is a product of two vastly different environments and cultures. This has given him a unique perspective on the world; one that has made him ever more mindful of the complex physical and social ecosystems we serve as designers. Kai has learned and worked throughout North America, Europe and Asia which has given him a global focus on architecture.

Andy Bossemeyer


Andy's detail oriented nature ensures that all aspects of a design are fully realized within the built form. His understanding of architecture at a multitude of scales, from urban context to localized component, aides in the design and development of cohesive buildings that work for both the individual and the community at large. He measures the success of architecture through the lens of the end user.
